全球变化陆地样带

s定义:由一系列沿着某种具有控制陆地生态系统结构、功能和组成,生物圈-大气圈痕量气体交换和水分循环的全球变化驱动力:温度、降水和土地利用梯度分布的生态研究站点观测点和样地组成的,其长度应不小于 1000公里以确保覆盖气候和大气模式以及决策尺度,并有足够宽度(数百公里)以涵盖遥感影像范围。

s选择标准:
具有一系列连续的样点、生态实验站和观测点
反映全球变化驱动力
一定的空间范畴
为若干IGBP的核心项目提供有用资源
已经建成或随着研究样点的选择而积极发展的研究队伍

               

Main driving force: precipitation gradient(MAP:25~800mm)

Sub-driving force: Pure livestock-herding areas(West end)®semi-agricultural and semi-husbandry areas®urbanized & industrial centers®pure agricultural areas®transient belts between forest farms and agricultural areas®pure forestry areas(East end)

Vegetation types:Desert steppe®typical steppe®meadow steppe®mixed forests dominated by Pinus koraiensis and other evergreen coniferous trees blended with Quercus mongolica and other broadleaf deciduous arbores

A general question guiding this transect study is :

         how does water availability(and land use change) influence the composition of plant functional types, soil organic matter, net primary production, trace gas flux, and land-use distribution?
